গত ১৪ই অক্টোবর, ২০২৩ তারিখে ঢাকা রেডিসন হোটেলে আইসিএসবি কতৃর্ক আয়োজিত ১০ম ন্যশনাল এ্যওয়ার্ড ২০২২ অনুষ্ঠানে, ন্যশনাল হাউজিং ফাইন্যান্স কর্পোরেট গর্ভান্যান্সের ক্ষেত্রে নন-ব্যাংকিং আর্থিক প্রতিষ্ঠান ক্যাটাগরিতে ব্রোঞ্জ পদক অর্জন করে। উক্ত অনুষ্ঠানে উপস্থিত থেকে পুরস্কার গ্রহন করেন কোম্পানীর ব্যবস্থপনা পরিচালক জনাব শামসুর রহমান এবং কোম্পানী সেক্রেটারি জনাব সারোয়ার কামাল এফসিএস ।

১৩ই সেপ্টেম্বর ২০২৩ইং রাজধানী ঢাকার প্যান প্যাসিফিক সোনারগাঁও হোটেলে বণিক বার্তা ও বিএলএফসিএ-র যৌথ আয়োজনে অনুষ্ঠিত এনবিএফআই সংযোগ ২০২৩ এ ন্যাশনাল হাউজিং ফাইন্যান্স প্রতিবারের মত এবারও অংশগ্রহন করে।

মাননীয় ব্যবস্থাপনা পরিচালক ও সিইও জনাব মোহাম্মদ শামসুল ইসলাম ন্যাশনাল হাউজিং এর প্যাভিলিয়ন উদ্বোধন এর মাধ্যমে একদিন ব্যাপী অনুষ্ঠানের সূচনা করেন। উক্ত অনুষ্ঠানে মাননীয় শিল্পমন্ত্রী জনাব নূরুল মজিদ মাহমুদ হুমায়ূন, এমপি, প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন। তিনি ন্যাশনাল হাউজিং ফাইন্যান্স-এর প্যাভিলিয়ন ও পরিদর্শন করেন। অনুষ্ঠানে গ্রাহক/উদ্যোক্তাগন সরাসরি ব্যাবস্থাপনা পরিচালকের সাথে সম্মুখ সাক্ষাতে অংশগ্রহনের সুযোগ পান। ন্যাশনাল হাউজিং ফাইন্যান্স দিনব্যাপী অনুষ্ঠানে আগত অতিথিদের কাছে তাদের পন্য ও সেবা সমূহ তুলে ধরে।

ন্যাশনাল হাউজিং ফাইনান্স-এর  ২৫ বছর পূর্তি উদ্‌যাপন

বাংলাদেশের বৃহৎ আর্থিক প্রতিষ্ঠান, ন্যাশনাল হাউজিং ফাইন্যান্স (পিএলসি) এর ২৫ বছর পূর্তি উপলক্ষে, সোমবার (২০ আগস্ট, ২০২৩) একটি সম্মেলন ন্যাশনাল হাউজিং ফাইন্যান্স এর কর্পোরেট হেড অফিস ও সকল ব্রাঞ্ছে উদযাপিত হয়েছে।

কোম্পানির চেয়ারম্যান, মোঃ মাহবুবুর রাহমান, কেক কাটার মাধ্যমে অনুষ্ঠানের উদ্বোধন করেন এবং কোম্পানির অগ্রগতি ও উন্নতির জন্য এবং ভবিষ্যতের আসন্ন চ্যালেঞ্জ মোকাবেলায় বিভিন্ন নতুন পরিকল্পনা প্রণয়নে সহায়তা করার জন্য সকলের প্রতি আহ্বান জানান।

এছাড়াও, ৩৩ বছরেরও বেশি সময় ধরে দেশের ব্যাংকিং খাতে কর্মরত ব্যবস্থাপনা পরিচালক মোহাম্মদ শামসুল ইসলামসহ প্রতিষ্ঠানের বিভিন্ন পরিচালক, কর্মকর্তা, সাক্ষাৎকার গ্রহণকারী ও কর্মচারীগণ সম্মেলনে উপস্থিত ছিলেন।

ন্যাশনাল হাউজিং ফাইন্যান্স জাতীয় শোক দিবস উপলক্ষে একটি আলোচনা সভা ও দোয়া মাহফিল আয়োজন করে।

১৫ আগস্ট, ২০২৩, ন্যাশনাল হাউজিং এর কর্পোরেট হেড অফিসে জাতির পিতা বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিবুর রহমানের স্মরণে এই সভাটি  অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। আলোচনা সভায় সকল কর্মকর্তা কর্মচারী কালো ব্যাচ ধারণ করে অংশগ্রহণ করেন। জাতির পিতা বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান ও তাঁর পরিবারের শহীদ সদস্যগণের বিদেহী আত্মার মাগফেরাত কামনা করে বিশেষ দোয়া ও মোনাজাত পরিচালনার মাদ্ধমে সভার সমাপ্তি হয়।

এছাড়াও, বিশেষভাবে উল্লেখ্য যে, পুরো আগস্ট মাসব্যাপী ন্যাশনাল হাউজিং এর বিভিন্ন ব্রাঞ্চে প্লেকার্ড বিতরণ ও প্রদর্শন এবং কর্মচারী কর্মকর্তাদের কালো ব্যাচ পরিহিত থাকা পরিলক্ষিত হয়। পরিশেষে, ন্যাশনাল হাউজিং ফাইন্যান্স বঙ্গবন্ধুর আদর্শ ও ত্যাগকে স্মরণ করে এবং তাঁর স্মৃতিকে অমর করে রাখতে প্রতিশ্রুতিবদ্ধ।

National Housing Finance and Investments Limited opened its Uttara Sales Center (Under Gulshan Branch) on 22 March, 2023 at City Axis Jahanara, Suit-5B (5^th floor), Plot- 68, Road-3, Sector-14, Gausul Azam Avenue, Uttara, Dhaka.

Mr. Mohammad Shamsul Islam, Managing Director of National Housing Finance and Investments Limited inaugurated the opening ceremony. Mr. Md. Sarwar Kamal, FCS, Company Secretary; Mr. Mahbubur Rashid Al-Amin, Head of Business; Mr. Md. Mahbubur Rahman, Head of Gulshan Branch with Gulshan Branch Officials and local business people were present in the occasion. Honorable Managing Director welcomed the respected guests and delivered a speech thereof. The function was ended with Doa and Munajat.

National Housing Finance and Investments Limited arranged a workshop on Anti Money Laundering & Combating Financing of Terrorism (AML& CFT) was held on 15 October, 2022 through Hybride System (Virtual Platform In-person) and conducted from Board Room, Corporate Head Office of the Company. The Workshop was presided over by Mohammad Shamsul Islam, Managing Director & CEO. Key note paper on AML-CFT was presented by Mr. Mohammad Mahbub Alam, Additional Director, BFIU, Bangladesh Bank as chief guest & key note speaker of the workshop. Mr. Sayed Ahmed FCMA, CAMLCO along with DCAMLCO and BAMLCOs of the company and all Executives, Officers of NHFIL attended the workshop. 

We are delighted to inform that National Housing Finance and Investments Limited (NHFIL) has opened its 10th branch at Khulna on 06 October 2022. Mr. Mohammad Shamsul Islam, Managing Director and CEO formally inaugurated the branch as Chief Guest. Mr. Mahbubur Rashid Al-Amin, VP & Head of Business, Mr. Anis Uddin Ahmed, VP & Head of Khulna Branch and local dignitaries were also present in the program.

Head Office of National Housing Finance and Investments Limited organized Discussion and Doa observing the National Mourning Day of father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on 29 August 2022, Tuesday.

কুটির, মাইক্রো, ক্ষুদ্র ও মাঝারি (সিএমএসএমই) খাতের উদ্যোক্তাদের মেয়াদি ঋণের বিপরীতে পুনঃঅর্থায়নের মাধ্যমে গ্রাহকদের সুবিধা দিতে বাংলাদেশ ব্যাংকের সাথে ন্যাশনাল হাউজিং ফাইন্যান্স এন্ড ইনভেষ্টমেন্টস লিমিটেডের চুক্তি সম্পাদিত হয়েছে। 

গত ২৪ আগস্ট এ চুক্তি স্বাক্ষরিত হয়।

অনুষ্ঠানে প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে ছিলেন বাংলাদেশ ব্যাংকের গভর্নর আব্দুর রউফ তালুকদার।  তার উপস্থিতিতে বাংলাদেশ ব্যাংকের এসএমই অ্যান্ড স্পেশাল প্রোগ্রামস ডিপার্টমেন্টের পরিচালক মো. জাকের হোসেনের সাথে ন্যাশনাল হাউজিং ফাইন্যান্স এন্ড ইনভেষ্টমেন্টস লিমিটেডের ব্যাবস্থাপনা পরিচালক জনাব মোহাম্মদ শামসুল ইসলাম চুক্তিতে স্বাক্ষর করেন। 

এছাড়া বিশেষ অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন বাংলাদেশ ব্যাংকের ডেপুটি গভর্নর আবু ফরাহ মো. নাসের, আরও ছিলেন নির্বাহী পরিচালক সিরাজুল ইসলাম ও  ওবায়দুল হক সহ অন্যান্য কর্মকর্তারা।  Jugantor

ন্যাশনাল হাউজিং এর কর্পোরেট হেড অফিসের সভা কক্ষে হাইব্রিড মিটিংয়ের মাধ্যমে আলোচনা সভা অনুষ্ঠিত হয়, সকল কর্মকর্তা কর্মচারী কালো ব্যাচ ধারণ করে আলোচনা সভায় অংশগ্রহণ করে এবং জাতির পিতা বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মজিবুর রহমান সহ তার পরিবারের সকল নিহত সদস্যদের আত্মার মাগফিরাতের জন্য বিশেষ ভাবে মোনাজাতের আয়োজন করা হয়।  

The 23^rd Annual General Meeting (AGM) of National Housing Finance and Investments Limited was held on Thursday, 2^nd June, 2022 at 12.00 noon through virtual platform. The shareholders approved 15.00% Cash Dividend for the year 2021. I may be noted that National Housing also declared 15% cash dividend in the year 2020.

The Meeting was presided over by Mr. Mahbubur Rahman, Chairman of the Company. In the AGM Syed M. Altaf Hussain, Vice-Chairman, Mr. Abdul-Muyeed Chowdhury, Chairman Audit Committee, all other Directors, Promoters, and a large number of Shareholders along with Mr. Mohammad Shamsul Islam, Managing Director and Mr. Md. Sarwar Kamal FCS, Company Secretary were present. The shareholders appreciated and thanked to the Board of Directors and management for the continuous success of the Company.

National Housing is one of the largest Financial Institution in the country incorporated by 3 Banks, 7 Insurance Companies and & country’s renowned corporate body engaged mainly with Home Loan. Total shareholders’ equity of the company is Tk. 2,182.23 million as on December 31, 2021. The Net profit after Tax of the company is Tk. 261.28 million, EPS Tk. 2.23 and Net Asset Value per Share (NAV) Tk. 18.65.

ন্যাশনাল হাউজিং ফাইন্যান্স অ্যান্ড ইনভেস্টমেন্টস লিমিটেড (এনএইচএফআইএল) সম্প্রতি বিল্ডিং টেকনোলজি অ্যান্ড আইডিয়াস লিমিটেডের (বিটিআই) সাথে একটি সমঝোতা চুক্তি স্বাক্ষর করেছে।

এই সমঝোতা স্মারকের অধীনে ফ্ল্যাট বা অফিস কেনার ক্ষেত্রে বিটিআই গ্রাহকদের জন্য ঋণ প্রদানে বিশেষ হার এবং ফি সুবিধা দেবে ন্যাশনাল হাউজিং ফাইন্যান্স অ্যান্ড ইনভেস্টমেন্টস লিমিটেড। 

মোহাম্মদ শামসুল ইসলাম, ব্যবস্থাপনা পরিচালক ও সিইও, এনএইচএফআইএল, আসিফ ইকবাল, প্রধান নির্বাহী কর্মকর্তা, বিটিআই, নিজ নিজ প্রতিষ্ঠানের পক্ষে চুক্তিতে স্বাক্ষর করেন।

শীতল চন্দ্র সাহা, হেড অব অপারেশন, এনএইচএফআইএল, মাহবুবুর রশিদ আল-আমিন, হেড অফ বিজনেস, এনএইচএফআইএল, সাকিব সরকার, এজিএম, অলটারনেটিভ চ্যানেল ডেভেলপমেন্ট, বিটিআই এবং আকিক আহমেদ, ডেপুটি ম্যানেজার, অলটারনেটিভ চ্যানেল ডেভেলপমেন্ট বিটিআইসহ উভয় প্রতিষ্ঠানের ঊর্ধ্বতন কর্মকর্তারা উপস্থিত ছিলেন।

বেসরকারি খাতের স্বনামধন্য আর্থিক প্রতিষ্ঠান ন্যাশনাল হাউজিং ফাইন্যান্স এন্ড ইনভেস্টমেন্টস্ লিমিটেড ও স্বনামধন্য ডেভেলপার কোম্পানী দি স্ট্রাকচারাল ইঞ্জিনিয়ারস লিমিটেড এর মধ্যে সম্প্রতি এক সমঝোতা চুক্তি স্বাক্ষর হয়েছে।

চুক্তি স্বাক্ষর অনুষ্ঠানে ন্যাশনাল হাউজিং ফাইন্যান্স - এর ব্যবস্থাপনা পরিচালক জনাব মোহাম্মদ শামসুল ইসলাম ও স্ট্রাকচারাল ইঞ্জিনিয়ারস এর ব্যবস্থাপনা পরিচালক ইঞ্জিনিয়ার মোঃ আবদুল আউয়াল নিজ নিজ প্রতিষ্ঠানের পক্ষে সমঝোতা স্মারকে স্বাক্ষর করেন। অনুষ্ঠানে ন্যাশনাল হাউজিং ফাইন্যান্স - এর এক্সিকিউটিভ ভাইস প্রেসিডেন্ট ও হেড অব অপারেশন জনাব শীতল চন্দ্র সাহা, প্রিন্সিপাল শাখার প্রধান জনাব মাহবুবুর রশীদ আল আমীন এবং স্ট্রাকচারাল ইঞ্জিনিয়ারস এর জেনারেল ম্যানেজার ও প্রধান মার্কেটিং এন্ড ফাইন্যান্স জনাব মোঃ শাহজাহান মিয়া, ডেপুটি জেনারেল ম্যানেজার- মার্কেটিং জনাব এ, কে, এম শফিউদ্দিন (শাহীন) সহ উভয় প্রতিষ্ঠানের ঊর্দ্ধতন কর্মকর্তাগণ উপস্থিত ছিলেন। এই চুক্তির আওতায় স্ট্রাকচারাল ইঞ্জিনিয়ারস এর সম্মানিত ফ্ল্যাট ক্রেতাগণ স্বল্পতম সময়ে সহজ শর্তে ন্যাশনাল হাউজিং ফাইন্যান্স থেকে হোম লোন সুবিধা পাবেন।

National Housing Finance and Investments Limited, a leading Financial Institution has celebrated its 23^rd Anniversary on 18^th August 2021 at its Head Office. The program was presided over by Mr. Mohammad Shamsul Islam, Managing Director of the Company. All Branch Managers, Departmental Heads, Senior Executives and staffs were attend the anniversary program. All Executives and staffs were given their opinion to achieve the business target of the year 2021. The Managing Director appreciated all the Managers and Executives for the business growth of the Company and give necessary direction to improve and achieve the business performance in 2021.

Mr. Mohammad Shamsul Islam has been appointed as Managing Director of National Housing Finance and Investments Ltd. (NHFIL) for 3 (three) years with effect from 16^th July 2021. 

Mr. Mohammad Shamsul Islam has joined as Additional Managing Director of National Housing Finance and Investments Ltd. (NHFIL) in February 2021. Upon retirement of immediate past Managing Director, the Board of Directors has appointed Mr. M.S. Islam as Managing Director. Prior to joining as Additional Managing Director, he was Deputy Managing Director of Global Islami Bank Limited from May 2017.

Mr. M.S. Islam has more than 32 years’ experience in Banking Sector. He started his career with AB Bank Limited as Probationary Officer in the year 1989. Throughout his career at AB Bank Limited, he worked as Manager of various branches and functional Heads in different Head Office Divisions. During his banking career, Mr. M.S. Islam has undergone a number of professional trainings and seminars at home and abroad.

Mr. M.S. Islam completed his MBA in Banking from the University of Dhaka.

National Housing Finance and Investments Ltd (NHFIL) a publicly listed leading NBFI of the country has accorded upgraded credit rating from “A1” to “AA-” in long term credit rated by Credit Rating Information and Services Limited (CRISL) based on the audited financial statement of the company as on December 31, 2020 and un-audited financial statements up to 31^st March 2021, which was “A1” last year. The category of “AA-” for Long Term indicating that NHFIL has very strong capacity for timely servicing of financial obligations offering high safety with carrying very low risk

In the Short Term rating, NHFIL has been awarded as “ST-2”, which indicates NHFIL has strong capacity for timely repayment of financial obligations carrying lowest credit risk. The rating as such denotes that NHFIL is on a very sound and strong stability in terms of its liquidity base, internal fund generation capacity and also having alternative sources of arranging funds.

NHFIL's outlook remains "Stable". The outlook implies that NHFIL is on the consistent growth having prospect of further progression with sustainability.

National Housing Finance and Investments Limited celebrated International Women’s Day-2021 at its Corporate Head Office. Rtn. PDG Safina Rahman MPHF, Managing Director of Lakhsma Innerwear Ltd. was the Chief Guest and presented her valuable insight about the theme of this year “Choose To Challenge”. All women employees of the company were present at that program physically and virtually.  Mr. Md. Khalilur Rahman, Managing Director of NHFIL & Former Chaiman of Bangladesh Leasing and Finance Companies Association (BLFCA), Mr. Mohammad Shamsul Islam- Additional Managing Director and Senior Officials and Head of Branches of NHFIL were also participated in the program.

Mr. Md. Khalilur Rahman welcomed the Chief Guest on behalf of NHFIL and greeted all the female employees with his introductory speech and a brief history of International Women’s Day. Later Rtn. PDG Safina Rahman MPHF started her inspiring speech by singing a beautiful song of Rabindranath Tagore. According to her, women are ready to take challenges both inside and outside of the house. They are strong enough to take challenges and overcome all impediments very confidently. She also shared her personal experiences as well as well-organized examples that women has to face daily in their life. Ms. Rahman advised to become more organized and more patience for moving forward prominently. Female employees from different Branches of NHFIL shared their views about the positive working environment of NHFIL and the significance of women empowerment that inspire them.

In concluding speech, Mr. Mohammad Shamsul Islam appreciated the initiative of Managing Director of NHFIL for celebrating the day each year gracefully for motivating all the female employees. He highlighted the significance of the day as well as acknowledged women power in our day to day life.
